Well, my Christmas card from raloria came in the mail today, so it was a nice little surprise to see that :)

And while technically speaking, this is supposed to be my week of finals, since I really don't have anything - one class isn't taking a final, and another one we just have to do a group presentation in - there's not really a whole lot of angsty, worrying, pull-my-hair-out studying going on over in my house.

Which feels pretty good, I have to say.

So, how about that pic for today, hmm?

Today's pic comes from episode 1.09: "Home," and I decided to go with the lovely Mary Winchester as our character for today. It's been the brothers for the past couple of days, and I haven't done a pic of Mary in a long time ...

( Because I know who it is! I can see her now. )

"Home" is such a great episode, don't you think? And I'd really like to see Missouri again, too.

So, have you all heard the good news?

TNT's officially landed the rights to Supernatural's repeats, according to The Fulton Critic. The network will start airing SPN (starting with episode 1.01: "Pilot") on Monday, 4 January, and there's a planned 10-hour marathon on Monday, 15 February!

Yeah, I'll be sure to be free that Monday :)

Who cares if they're episodes I've seen numerous times before, you know?

In other news, I had my acting final tonight, and I'm pretty confident that it went well, and my scene partner feels the same. (Here's to hoping that we're feeling confident for the right reasons, you know? And that we didn't blow it!)

Alright, here's today's pic - I went with another one from episode 3.08: "A Very Supernatural Christmas" - and it's the boys in suits this time.

Just to celebrate the whole syndication thing, let's look at these really hot guys :)

Of course, the fact that TNT is airing the show at 9:00 a.m. CST is a bit of a bummer (since I'm not much of a morning person), but on those days when I'm for class or other reasons, there's now actually going to be something on in the morning besides the news *grins*

And I'm posting today's in honor of the Supernatural episode that repeated tonight.

So, first off - a Happy Supernatural Day to everyone. Even if it is the hellatus and there aren't any new episodes, it's still a Supernatural day, and thus cause for some celebration :)

Now, to go right on to the pic information.

Since it was episode 5.04: "The End" that repeated tonight, that's the episode I chose to take today's pic from, and the choice was between a giving a double dose of Deans or choosing a shot of Lucifer!Sam ... well, my header gives everyone that look at Future!Dean and Past!Dean, so I went with Lucifer!Sam for the Pic-A-Day pic.

Plus, I just like that white suit - a lot ;)

( I win ... So, I win. )

I still think that this episode remains my favorite of the season. (Although, both 5.08: "Changing Channels" and 5.10: "Abandon All Hope" have come close, I'll admit.) But I think it's the whole Sam-as-Lucifer and two-Deans things that really keep this episode at the top of my list :)

Getting closer to finishing off the forties, now. That's another cause for celebration when we make it to the thirties, at least.

Unfortunately, there's no repeat episode next week *frown* because of those stupid vampires and The CW's need to cater to vampire mania by giving a week-long marathon to The Vampire Diaries. (I mean, has any other show on The CW ever gotten a week-long marathon like this? I can't remember ever seeing another show get one, but I'll admit that I'm not 100% sure.)

And speaking of vampires, I'll try and get the post up about my anti-Twilight speech tomorrow or Saturday. (Got to go study for a science test I have tomorrow now *frown*)

Well, I've had a pretty good day, so far.

My anti-Twilight speech went pretty well (even if I did speak for 8 min. when I was only supposed to speak for around 5 min.), and the 5-min. discussion part after the speech also went really well. I was glad - that was the part I was most nervous about (considering I was trashing Twilight, and I wasn't 100% sure how many people were fans of the series in my class).

I'll give more details on the whole speech later - Unfortunately, I wasn't able to tape it, but what I can do as far as sharing it with you is give you what I had typed as a version of the speech, if you will.

And my scene partner and I did well with presenting our scene today for the first time, surprisingly, considering our director has been gone the entire time. Now, for just a little bit of tweaking on it for a couple more days, and it's good to go for the final on Sunday.

But enough about the Real Life stuff for now.

With this post, I'm just giving today's pic :)

And it's the last repeat until Christmas Eve (of course, on the 24th, they're supposed to replaying episode 3.08: "A Very Supernatural Christmas"), because of that damn Vampire Diaries marathon that's playing all next week.

*Curses vampires for probably the hundredth time for keeping her from her SPN repeat fix*

Yeah, I curse the vamps for many things - the lack of an SPN fix just makes me even MORE upset!

Ahhh, internet connection. Comparing Sydney and Melbourne, an hour from Sydney you're at my house. An hour from Melbourne all you can see in scenery, and then BANG, peak hour traffic... Going into the city?

Because I'm loving this lj app and all it's capabilities, I'm just going to post some pictures of NSW & VIC countryside. Basically, in a day we've driven from North Carolina to the bottom of South. Perhaps a little more.

Haven't done much today, even though I should be working on my speech/presentation that I have to give tomorrow.

Yeah, I'm a professional procrastinator ;)

Take that as a good or bad thing ...

But considering the majority of my speech will be focused on trashing Twilight, I'm pretty sure I can wing most of it, so things should go OK ... I hope.

Anyway, enough about all of that. Let me just give you the pic.

Damn these ads that keep popping up!

Since when did LJ decide that they needed pop-up adds that can't be instantly closed out?! I was just fine with the little bar ads on the page and the boxes, etc.

But these pop-up singing things?! SERIOUSLY?!

I was perfectly content with my Plus account - the only complaint I had was that I wish I had more icon space - and had really never considered going to a Paid account.

But LJ, if you really keep this madness up, you're going to lead me to a Paid account.

I guess that's their game, huh?

Get everyone frustrated enough that they'll fork out the money for Paid accounts.

I'll use the Cas icon just because I don't have one that fits today's pic - and besides, it's been a while since I've used a Cas icon, and I miss him. (Maybe I should do a Cas pic tomorrow, hmm ...)

Anyway, first off, I wanna thank those who sent the virtual gifts of the snowflake cookies to me today: nuke_88 and raloria. I've sent a few out myself just a few minutes ago (didn't realize that they were free, as a matter of fact) and may just send even more out tomorrow :)

Today's pic comes from way back in season 01, episode 1.20: "Dead Man's Blood," to be a bit more specific, and the character chosen for today was none other than Papa Winchester himself. I haven't done a pic of John since this new Pic-A-Day run started, so I figured it was about time that Papa got his due.

( You boys are all I've got. But I guess we are stronger as a family. )

Yeah, most of the time, I don't have a huge problem with John. It's just the occasional thing that'll get to me and make me wanna kill the guy.

Another day and another pic.

I've finally completely moved all of my stuff out of the (horrible and contaminated) dorm room that I had up at my college, even though I still have about another week of classes left (well, a total of five more days between these next two weeks). But I'd already been basically driving back and forth between home and there, and hadn't been staying in that room since the end of October - all that was left in it was the big stuff that I couldn't move out on my own, you know - things like the TV, bookcase, etc.

But that's all done now :) It's officially all behind me, and I'll be going to a different school once again come next semester. (It's like musical schools with me, it seems, trying to find the right place!)

But enough about the RL update - How about I get right to the pic?

Today's pic comes from that Christmas episode once again, just because I couldn't resist. This time, it's Dean's turn, since it's been a few days since I've done a strictly Dean pic - what with the Bobbys and Sams and Pamelas taking up space ;)

This is just going to be a pretty quick post today, since I'm about to go soon with my mom to go see 2012 (after getting something to eat, that is).

Yep. I caved and ended up buying another copy of the season 02 and season 04 DVD sets of Supernatural from Amazon today.

I watch my other ones SO much, and I've been thinking about getting another copy that ends up being barely handled for awhile now, and you know, I just couldn't keep myself away from the $17.99 deal on season 02 and the $14.99 for season 04.

Now, all I got to do is get seasons 01 and 03 at some point ;)

I would have gotten all of them at the same time, but I just couldn't take a $90 hit outta my wallet.

I am still a student, after all ;)

But yeah, the SPN bug overcame my logical sense, and I caved ...

I have had a GREAT Supernatural Day. Not only did I watch the repeat tonight, but my calendars that I had ordered from Creation finally came (and I seriously hadn't been expecting them to arrive before next week). So, needless to say, I spent a good several minutes staring at the Jared and Jensen goodness that will adorn my wall all next year :)
